Dr. Frank Danger Li, MD

Dr. Li was my pain specialist for several years during which time I found him to be patient, and to truly care for my difficulty. I was sad when I learned of his problem(s) with the medical board, and can only hope that he can return to practice soon. I remember once when it became necessary to adjust/change the medication in my pain pump. A difficulty insued, and Dr. Li sat with me in his office until the problem subsided. I personally felt that Dr. Li was one of the finest physicians I have ever seen, and wish that he were still in practice.

Dr. Frank Li was my pain specialist for several years. I found him to be patient, and a very knowledgeable physician. He diagnosed my difficulties, and was very exacting in his diagnosis, as well as his prognosis. I was sad when I discovered he was no longer permitted to practice. I only hope that his difficulties with the medical board are resolved, and he can continue his good work. I have dealt with chronic pain for nearly 35 years, and it is a real problem to find a good physician to help. Frank Li was all of that. I remember one incident that involved a change of medication(s) for my pain pump where he sat with me in his office for several hours in an effort to insure I was going to be alright. I only wish there were more physicians like Dr. Li.

We are sorely missing his incredible care.

He listened to me. And found a pain plan that was successful for me.

Dr Li. Had a pain pump installed in my abdomn by one of his associates, this pump has malfuncented on a number of times caussing me to have no feeling from my waist down, causing me to collapase on 3 ococatios. When told of this the Dr. said lets just mpniter this for a month of two and see what happens. Also on my intake form that I fill out each time, I reported things that have happned to me and at no time in the time that I have been with the Pain 'clinic (3 yrs or more) has anyone in the clinic addresed these matters with me. (why do they have us fill these forms out if they do not follow up.

I have been visiting the Seattle Pain Clinic for at least 4 years, this is due to a severe case of spinal stenosis & real bad neuropathy to my lowere legs. I have always been treated very good. In fact, new ideas were always brought to my attention with optons available to ease my pain I suffer on a daily basis. They really care! But I didn't like what is called time out. They bring down your dose for a month or two by about 2/3rd's or a1/4, depending on your dose. Thereby, when you again commence your regular dose, the medication is.more effective for the pain. I believe they really care, in fact, real strict as well on a bad UA etc. Losing meds.....only bad note: they need better monitor control on UA's.....thus the 4 star instead of 5 star. Very professional staff. Thumps up!

Patient of this "office" for 5+ years. Continuity of care does not exist. Appointments rarely happen on time. Sometimes over an hour wait. Experienced three separate procedures, and would not ever lay down on a table again in their facilities. I was traumetized. Offices are not run professionally. Too busy opening additional offices. It appears that they don't want to hire and pay for educated, professional staff. Run away from this place.

I've been with Dr Li's clinics for years; still going so results are obviously favorable. My pain is very manageable since beginning protocol with SPC. I highly recommend SPC for long-term pain management! Philip S. at North Seattle location is tops!

Doc Li is great! He listens, understands and spends time with his patients, when you can get through the staff to get to see him. I have been trying to find out how to do just that for two days but hit a brick wall. Having trouble with one of the offices and he is not only the one who can fix it but it appears he is the ONLY one who can fix it and they will not allow that. Doc Li put my pain management in order seven years ago and I was able to ride my bikes as well as fix them, was able to mostly take care of myself and was always busy. When I couldn't be busy I could read. The meds worked without making me brain dead! Excellent choices! It was all very good till the office moved from one location to another in Olympia and ALL the staff seems to have changed. Continuity of care went south and I had my pain management cut in half the first meeting with a woman then in my first meeting with another it was changed. Just as I was trying to move. I had 7 major surgeries and a life… threatening infection inside of two years and due to it had suffered some brain issues. It got misread as something else. It will get squared away if I ever manage to find a way to make contact. I'll spend my entire disability check to go to Spokane if I have to in order to see doc Li. He treats PEOPLE like people and not just "by the numbers".

MY ACTUAL RATING IS -10. Frank has built a drug empire with no compassion or a care for his "patients". I became a patient of his empire recently after avoiding him for five years. I was having serious pain complications and it took SIX WEEKS TO GET IN TO SEE ONE OF HIS MINIONS! SIX WEEKS for a chronic pain patient of twenty years! He is a drug dealer and ego-maniac. AVOID HIS CLINICS AT ALL COST! I AM LEAVING THIS MADNESS.
