His training includes a postgraduate certificate from Long Island College Hospital in New York City. After completing his postgraduate residency program, he entered private practice in Staten Island, NY, where he practiced for 11 years. In 1993 he opened his present office in Holmdel, NJ, where he has developed a family practice dedicated to"friendly, small town feel" dentistry.
Dr. Ortolano is actively involved in the Jersey Shore Medical Center and the University of Pennsyvania School of Dentistry Continuing Education Program. He has lectured to the local dental study group and is a consultant for a major dental products company. Dr. Ortolano has appeared as a feature editorial contributor to the Asbury Park Press. He believes in continuing education and averages over 75 hours of continuing education courses per year to keep current with the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry.
