Dr. Francis B Pellegrino, MD

Been seeing Dr Pellegrino for over 20 years started in sumterville, The Villages and now here in Leesburg Florida. He is a great doctor he treats his patients very well his staff is excellent and very caring Brian is excellent also I feel like I have a winning team at Dr Pellegrino's office if I can't see him I can see Brian and I know I'm in good hands. My husband and I feel we have the best doctor in town it couldn't get any better. Thank you for all you have done for us over the years.

Dr. Frank listens! He works with you to achieve the best result. Dr. Frank is mindful of the high costs of treatment and efficacy of medicines. I am firmly convinced he is the best family physician in Florida.

He is so diligent with his exams that it puts you at ease. Good personality and loads of patience. This may at times cause a wait but when he is with you, his full attention is with you! Glad to see him back in Leesburg also.

I realize that not everyone has a perfect experience with any physician, but I found him to be a very kind, compassionate physician who listened to my concerns. In doing so he was able to switch my medication from something that cost over $159 a month to something for $13 that works even better. It was because he took that extra time to listen to me, hear what I was concerned with and explore another option. I understand having to wait for a physician, I have never seen a physician in any specialty where I did not wait. However, at least this time I waited for good reason. I heard the patient in the next room crying, as he took extra time with them as they were given devastating news. This guy really cared. I will continue to see him for as long as I can.

Had my second appointment today with Dr. Pellegrino. My wife was seeing him for the first time. We waited over 2 hours before Pellegrino walked into the exam room. The first thing he asked was how we were doing. My wife answered that she was tired from waiting so long. He asked her if that was meant to be a complaint and my wife answered yes. Pellegrino then proceeded to tell her that there are other things happening in the world and that everything was not just about her. He had a ugly, hateful look on his face when he said that my wife attacked him and began to list the problems he was facing. My wife only looked at him, said wow and got up and walked out. This was to be her first and only visit to this doctor. This guy walked into the room with a chip on his shoulder and acted in a rude and unprofessional manner. I can see now why he moved his practice from Leesburg to Clermont.

Like: really cares about his patients your not just a number.A good Doctor told many of my friends.

He worries about his ratings more than your problems! I told my neighbor about him in the beginning and they hated his ways dealing with their concerns. They went back to their previous doctor. I will be seeking for another doctor myself.

Actually takes the time to listen. Understands that a persons health is directly impacted by stressors within their life. Truly cares and can empathize with his patients and their family during difficult times. Does NOT give up on any patient.
