Dr. Jaime Mauricio Salcedo Varela, MD

Dr. Jaime Salcedo joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Salcedo completed his family medicine residency at CoxHealth Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. He earned his medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Honduras in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, in 1997. A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and honored as a recipient of the WellCare Patient Satisfaction Award, he truly believes that CenterWell's senior-centered healthcare model encompasses all of his patients' needs while giving them access to coordinated care with the support of nurses, case managers, pharmacists, and other clinicians. Dr. Salcedo emphasizes the importance of building a relationship with his patients by taking the time to listen to their needs and understand their problems so that they can work as a team to address all their health concerns. He then works alongside his Care Team to develop a personalized care plan that targets these specific …health issues while guiding them along their health journey. When he's not at the office, Dr. Salcedo likes to devote time to building strong connections within his family and enjoys playing golf.
