My mother is extremely mentally ill and he makes it worse... He coddles her and seems to feed into her delusions. If she needs a letter for welfare, he provides it, even though she is scamming the system. She adores him and he seems to feed off her adoration. I have contacted the NY Office of Professional Discipline and will be contacting NYS about the welfare fraud he is helping my mother perpetrate. I love my mother and she needs adequate care and this guy is a fraud. I can't convince her otherwise, not when she's in thrall to him.... And she spends thousands getting treated by him.

Seems bored. Is he paying attention? Dunno. Looks half asleep until he says "time to stop". I've been looking for someone else, but hard to find during covid and my psychiatrist says he's better than nothing.

I have seen a few therapists over my lifetime, but this one was the most informed, and the most helpful. He is very professional, and if you make an emergency call to his service, he responds immediately. He really helped me sort out some serious problems. Highly recommended.

I saw him many years ago and I can't believe he's still practicing. He had a bad reputation then (was said to be having sex with one of his patients, the daughter of a local judge) and, seeing other reviews in recent years and having spoken to a current client, it atounds me that NY STILL hasn't taken his license away. He preys upn young women, uses sexually explicit language when discussig sexual abuse, has seen a female client outside the office at his home, and used hypnosis as part of "treatment" to ill effect and with seemingly nefarious intent (at least on me). Please contact The NY Office of Professional Discipline if this sounds like your experience. I hope that everyone abused by this person comes forward.

Where to begin? Uses profanity and slang when discussing sexual abuse. Flirts with female patients. Talks about other patients. Takes no notes whatsoever, so he never remembers what you're talking about. This guy did more harm than good. Run, don't walk if you're still a patient.

If you don’t have trauma before seeing this person you surely will after. Most of the appointment time is spent with him telling you stories about his other clients unless he falls asleep.

Spoke to family without consent.

Talks about other patients in ways that make them identifiable, and has trouble remembering things from previous sessions. He doesn't seem to be "trauma-informed", which is concerning considering how many of his patients he claims are trauma survivors. He has made inappropriate comments about assault and eating disordered behaviors, and he didn't store records properly, so when the office was burglarized in 2017, patient notes and information were stolen.
