Dr. Frank J Won, OD

Frank Won, O.D. is an experienced optometrist with nearly 20 years of comprehensive clinical and leadership experience. Dedicated to providing exceptional care, Dr. Won is committed to creating a positive and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. His goal is to continuously expand his clinical skills and deliver the highest standard of care to every patient he serves.

Dr. Won earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York City. He completed his undergraduate studies at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology.

In addition to his extensive clinical practice, Dr. Won has pursued advanced professional development, earning his Optometric Scope Expansion specialty credential through the New York State Optometric Association in 2023. This includes comprehensive continuing education in oral medication prescribing in New York State, further enhancing his ability to …manage a wide range of eye conditions.

Dr. Won remains dedicated to offering full-scope optometric care and continually strives to improve patient outcomes through compassionate, thorough, and up-to-date care. As a physician, Dr. Won takes a patient-first attitude while considering treatment options and care choices. Being throughtful of costs, effectiveness, and availability, Dr. Won makes choices with the patient together.

Outside the office, Dr. Won spends his time volunteering at his local church and has participated for the last 10 years in running a Children's Education Ministry alongside his wife, the Director of Programs, aiding in the events, regular classes, and even summer programs. With a passion in music, Dr. Won has run the music program for a week-long summer program that runs annually. Volunteerism is a part of who Dr. Won is.
