Let me take this opportunity to say how impressed I was during my recent visit with Dr. Lowe. I felt that I needed a new urologist because I had not been satisfied with the doctor I had been seeing. After making an appointment, through Dr. Lowe's secretary which was handled in a sensistive and prompt manner, I met with the doctor. After review of family medical history etc., my initial examination included a number of office tests, which results he reviewed before determining how to proceed. I have been completely impressed with his manner and would highly recommend Dr. Lowe

Heah & shoulders above most urologists. Very thorough. There is no one to be trusted more or to provide the best in the mysterious world of urology. He literall wrote the book on BPH Diagnosis and Treatment. The vast majority of urologists simply do not compare.

Not exactly sure why someone would spend over 1 hour and 30 minutes in a waiting room to see Dr. Lowe. While he may be moderately competent, he's no genius, and he has no bedside manner. And frankly I find it insulting that he consistently makes people wait that long. There are other, more professional doctors in NYC.

3 members of my family have been correctly diagnosed by Dr Lowe including me. My father in law was diagnosed with prostate cancer from his usual urologist in NJ. The NJ Doctor was very sure of himself and arrogant and wanted him to have radiation right away with possible surgery. I had my father in law visit with Dr Lowe who's manner was opposite of the NJ Doctor and took time to get to the problem it was not cancer and that was 10 years ago and no cancer still at the age of 80. To think how close he came to ruining his bladder. Through it all Dr Lowe was open to other opinions and a holistic approach. In my own case he was the same way - I did have cancer and surgery after getting two other opinions I went back to Lowe (who encouraged me to get another opinion(s)) I am fine. He is an excellent Doctor.
