Dr. Franklin Tuckleong Lum, MD

Dr. Lum is by far the worst doctor I've ever encountered in my life. He's rude, abrupt, inconsiderate and late. He said I had "no signs of a neurological disorder" despite my slurred speech and lack of coordination. The severe brain damage was verified by other doctors. I reported Dr. Lum to the Medical Board. He needs to be shut down and his license stripped.

Dr. Lum was incompetent, sloppy and rude. He rushed into appointment more than 20 minutes late, did not introduce himself or greet me, literally puppeteered my hands on a finger to nose exam to make it come out "normal," then lied about it in notes. Threw shoes and socks across the room in apparent attempt to distract me, failed to properly describe actual problems noted in exam on patient notes. I felt soiled after seeing him. Worst doctor ever.

Listens attentively and takes note of details. Very thorough. Doesn't make you feel rushed. He's knowledgeable but kind and very professional.

Dr. Lum assumed my case from Southern Kaiser. He immediately searched for my records. He is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. I was very nervous moving to a new area and he immediately assuaged my fears. My gratitude is immense. In a time and age when the MS community struggles with Healthcare and solutions, I seem to receive very good care.

He is a nice, smart, good doctor! Like him!

This is a doctor who just does not listen, goes through the motions and really does not seem to care. Do not choose this neurologist if you want quality care.
