Dr. Franklin K Torres, MD

I was diagnosed with PAD. I had no pulse in my legs or feet. I also had a blockage by my left kidney. Dr. Torres explained in detail that I needed to have artery bypass surgery and that it had to be done going through my abdomen. I had the surgery 10 weeks ago, and I can now walk totally pain free for the first time in years. I tell everyone that Dr.Torres gave me new legs.I am grateful that I was referred to him, and I would highly recommend him.

Bad service, Rude people,Poor bedside manner, The worst try three to get a appointment changed still did not get it changed.Nasty , Could not get my own Diagnosis for two weeks.

I was referred to Dr. Torres by my primary care physician for a possible hernia on my LEFT side. Dr. Torres said I needed blood work and a CT. Scan. After the blood work I called to see if that would "trigger" the CT scan. I was told it would. After ten days or so I called to see about the scan and was told they were waiting for my primary doctor to authorize it which is untrue. Finally I had the scan and now that it's 5 WEEKS later I have heard NOTHING from them. I learned through my primary doctor that it showed no problems. The report, however said I complained about pain to my RIGHT GROIN area. I'm just glad it wasn't something serious.

Dr. Torres was attentive and informative about treatment for my dad's abdominal aortic aneurysm. His sense of urgency to undergo surgery balanced with his confidence and authentic bedside manner made it an easy decision. Both the surgery and recovery were well managed. We were blessed to have Dr. Torres leading the surgery.
