Summary
I was born and raised in Philadelphia. After joining the army and traveling around the country, I consider many different places home. I am married to the love of my life, a former nurse. We met at the Walter Reed Army Center, and we have twin son and two dogs. An older son lives abroad with his family. I was inspired to become a pediatrician by my own childhood pediatrician, an example in our community. He impacted the lives of those around him in such a good way that it made me want to do the same. In addition to practicing here at Kaiser Permanente, I am an award-winning children_s book author; I created a team of superheroes featured in a five-part comic book series that helps kids understand and better manage their asthma.
