Dr. Frasat Chaudhry, MD

Such a great doctor. Totally understood my issues, explained everything to me about my diagnosis and was very personable and did not rush me. Unfortunately, getting an appointment was difficult, but she is a wonderful doctor and her staff is equally helpful.

Dr Chaudhry is rude, condescending and impatient. She lacks compassion and bedside manner. She would rather push drugs than any diagnostic testing (brain imaging or blood work). She doesn’t show any empathy or compassion for her patients and the rest of her staff is just as awful, hostile and confrontational.

Dr. Chaudhry is a very professional, caring, knowledgeable and friendly doctor. I liked her from the very first visit with her. Her bedside manners are outstanding and she really cared for my condition and well being and took time listening and diagnosing. The next few visits (3 or 4) I had with her, were just as pleasant. She never rushed off her consultations like most doctors do these days and I was very disappointed when I found out she left the practice.

I was surprised by the three reviews that I read about Dr. Chaudhry. My experiences on my office visits have been totally different. She spends time and listens to what I have to say. She did nerve conduction studies on hands, legs and feet herself, in the office. During the procedure she talked to me and was very friendly making the procedure go quickly. As soon as she enters the room, she smiles and asks me questions that lets me know that she remembers what we talked about previously. Dr. Chaudhry came to the hospital when I was admitted for vertigo and she is not my primary care physician. I would highly recommend her.

The front desk staff were very organized and kind. Dr Chaundhry not so much. When I asked a question about something she said she responded with, "Are in a medicine?" Makes you feel like you do not have any common sense and has no bedside manner. She raises her voice when she talks to you and talks down to you. She did not seem to listen to what I had to say and jumped to many conclusions about me which were all false. I told her that I deal with patients everyday as well and I would never treat them the way that she treated me.She scheduled me for an MRI that day... even though I told her that I may be pregnant. She said that an MRI is absolutely OK to get when you are pregnant. The imaging center said that it is definitely not OK to have an MRI if you are pregnant. I felt like Dr Chaundhry should have known that since she sends people to get MRI'S all the time (she is at a brain and spine center). I left there with no information and and will not be returning.

I will give her some credit... She ran a decent panel of bloodwork. But missed a serious neurological disease that was diagnosed by one of the top hospitals in the country (had to leave the state). I would be in a very bad state and disabled if I would have listened to her. She checked vitamin B12 without testing for MMA levels, she also does NOT do a full neuro exam in office.

Dr. Chaudhry is a very intelligent doctor. I'm quite certain she is fully capable within her profession. On a person level I found her (after 2 appointments with her) to be brusque, rude and quick to dismiss my concerns once she had formed an opinion prior to test results coming in. I will never return to this office. On my last visit while we waited for the assistant to schedule an MRI another older male doctor from the practice was having a meltdown (screaming and yelling) at his assistant because he needed to schedule an xray for someone RIGHT NOW. This entire office is very highly strung. I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for neurological care.
