Dr. Fred S Barash, MD

Dr. Barash is the best caring Dr I've ever met. I wish I could find more of Dr. Barash's in California now that I've moved. But honestly he had been there for me & my Kids when ever i needed him & even until now my kids talk/brag about him how wonderful he was now that they are both grown. In case of the emergency's no matter what day of the week or what hour it was - whenever i needed him he would call you right away & even open up his office & that's what I call a caring Doctor. He is very knowledgeable and he knows his job well.

Sorry people for my broken English. When my son was little I told Dr.Barash for to do something about my son feet. When he was two years old I noticed something was wrong but Dr. Barash did agree with me he could describe some special boots or physiotherapy. Today my son is 25 years old and he walks pulling his legs. It's so sad Dr. Barash never listened to me when I said was something wrong with my son feet and the legs wasn't strait. Dr. Barash take care of my son before he's born until he's went to college. I told the doctor many times about my concern and he said everything is fine with your son feet and legs. Yesterday my son come from overseas to spend Christmas time here in NY with our family and I saw he walks much worse. I'm very upset with Dr. Barash.

He is hands down the best doctor I have ever encountered. He is not all warm and cuddly with parents, but his patients love him and he loves them. He is knowledgeable and answers his own phone! My child had to go to the emergency room. Before she got there, he had already called. While we called, I heard him phone again and check in on results. In this world of medical care where many don't stop to take the time and know the patients, he is a different breed. I wish I could find a Dr. Barash for me.

Brilliant doctor. Noble soul, beyond dedicated to his profession.

Dr Barash is a cold hearted man who makes people feel stupid. When I called him late one night concerning my newborn son his first response was "are you kidding me"! If you dont want to be bothered then dont be a do tor and make people feel as if they are stupid. He is very cold during office visits and usually doesnt explain anything to you. He could vare less what you feel or think. As a parent he fails miserable as a pediatrician

He was nasty to me because I was a speech delay until age 3 but now I am an amazing individual but he never believed that I could be. He thought I was going to be in Speech and OT for the rest of my life.

Dr. Barash is an excellent doctor - the kids like him, but he has a poor bedside manner with adults. Does not like to be questioned, but seems to know the answer anyway. Answers his cell phone at midnight and on Sundays - is a doctor for the right reasons - seems to love what he does. He really cares about his little patients.

Name is Fred not Amy. Sarcastic. The new secretary is very nice. Dr. Barash is the best dr. ever.

Always available! Never triaged by a nurse. Remembers everything even at midnight without a chart... Although he doesn't have the best bedside manner, my kids love him. Woudn't change peds for anything.
