Dr. Fred Earl Newton, MD

Dr. Newton has always been patient and gentle when performing exams. He delivered all of my nieces and nephews. He actually listens when you tell him what's going on with you and offers workable solutions to your problems.

We came to Dr Newton for our pregnancy based off of all the positive reviews. Tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but after being with him nearly four months we've decided to find a new doctor. He asked how to pronounce my name... after FOUR MONTHS of seeing him. He's very impersonal. He's rude, close minded, and condescending. When I asked when I should give him my birthing preferences he said to write them down so he could take them to his office and "have a chuckle". He also thought it was appropriate to thunk me on the forehead because I said I wanted a natural birth - no epidural. Really unprofessional and although his online reviews are good, the other people we've spoke with who had him said they had a similar experience as we did.

Very respectful and kind doctor, was there for me anytime I had an emergency and made sure I had a healthy delivery!!! I would recommend to anyone!!!

Dr. Newton is very personable and easy to talk to. I is very good at putting your at ease in when sharing health issues. His explanations are clear and understandable. He spends time explaining things to me when I have questions. The staff is courteous and a great atmosphere. I just enjoy my visits with Dr. Newton.

I was referred by a friend since I had a number of high risk pregnancies. Dr. Newton is amazing. He stays on me about the weight gain lol. He has watched me very closely to be sure we don't lose this one.

I had the worst experience in this office, I think Fred Newton is the MOST unprofessional Doctor Ive EVER MET. I had FMLA papers for him to sign and I s/w Newton over the phone for the time allotted for Dental Visits during my pregnancy, Newton- advise me that I was adding to his paper work... I was taken aback by his demeanor. His office was very "messy"! One of his staff members was a relative my Brother - in -law and she felt the need to advise all of them (her family) that I was pregnant and of some of the other issue I had encountered. What happen to Patient Confidentiality??? I felt selecting Fred Newton as my OBGYN was a no brainer considering he had deliver both of my nieces and two cousins. But after the HORRIBLE OVERALL experience I would NEVER EVER Recommend "DR." Fred Newton to anyone and will FOREVER give him BAD reviews; And I will add that Being of African American decent I was eager to have a doctor of the same ethnicity - I WAS WRONG!!

Dr. Fred Newton has delivered both of my children, my nieces (3), my nephews (2), my second cousins (4). He has definitly earned the title of our "Family" doctor. He has a wonderful staff (with the exception of one person who acts like she never has anything to smile about), and everyone treats you with lots of love and care. You come and go feeling like they care about your entire family. The thing I liked most about his office is that he required that the father be present during my ultra-sounds. It made the experience all that much more special, we also got to video tape the ultra sound and both my children love to see themselves on tv. I adore Dr. Newton and if you choose him as your Dr. you will know why.

I believe Dr. Newton was heaven sent. I was 29 years old and went into labor at just 25 weeks Dr. Newton treated me as a lifetime friend instead of a patient at that critical stage in my life and that really meant a lot to me. I will refer all my friends and family to Dr. Newton. The reason being is that he realizes that you are just not a patient but your a person with feelings also.
