Dr. Frederic Rene Martin, MD

Dr. Martin almost never has us wait for an appointment. He also takes all the time needed to evaluate and answer all questions and concerns. I appreciate his relaxed style, It really works on my husband with dementia who actually enjoys his visits.

I remember when it was Dr. DeBolt's practice and one day he sold it to Fred Martin so that he could retire in Portland Oregon. Sincé Dr. DeBolt's retirement, Dr. Martin constantly ruined his fame by increasing his rates every single time. There was one day that I remember very well that he charged $65.00 for a brief consultation but if it was of 90 he would inncrease his rates to $100.00. Is it fair? NO. Question: Why have Dr. Martin as a Doctor if you can have Dr. Nichols as a doctor? I look for bargains just like the next guy. What about you?

Takes time to listen and actually focuses on what you're telling him. He is confident, but not arrogant in his diagnosis. That confidence gave me the ability to trust his diagnosis and try medications I'd tried in the past without success and to give them the time to work. Very personable and pleasant, but most of all a consummate professional. I'd recommend him to anyone of any age.

I took my 86 year old mother for an initial evaluation. Dr Martin took considerable time with us and asked alot of question, something her regular GP doctor does not do. He explained his findings to us and relayed them in as easy to understand manner. His help was certainly appreciated and his bedside manner was terrific. Also the recommendations and changes he made in her medications are working! I can't say enough good things about this doctor.
