Dr. Frederic Smith is in my opinion one the best if not the best family doctor in the Columbia area. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated to his craft.

This was my 1st appointment & everyone from the front door to the back was very friendly & professional. DR Smith was very friendly, had a great personality & was very thorough!

Dr. Fred Smith is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is such a caring man. Have always had trust in him and will continue to do so. Great bedside manner.

I am suprised about the other review. Fred has been amazing for me. He will work you in to see him when there is an issue. So I have never seen where he has too many patients. He has been spot on with his diagnosis. He has always taken the steps necessary to ensure that my health issues have been addressed. His actions may have saved my life in diagnosing a DVT when I beleived it to be a simple injury. His bedside manner is great and he always takes the time to listen to me. I would reccomend him to anyone

Dr. Smith let my husbands psa continue to rise before he even notified us there was a problem. Unfortunately, my husband just had surgery for prostate cancer and we just learned it had penetrated the prostate wall because it had not been caught in time. This is unacceptable!!!!! Being a good doctor is not about telling patients everything is ok when it is not. Also, being told by him that he had 4000 patients when we met with him after a cancer diagnosis from a urologist was not very comforting. Obviously he is about quantity about not quality. So disappointed in him. He never even contacted my husband to see if he had surgery scheduled. Very uncaring!
