I had carpel tunnel surgery and was treated with care and respect. Love Dr. Ballet!

I actually found out about Dr. Ballet by total accident!! I had recently gotten my own pediatric records pulled from the archives- and as I was going through them all, I stumbled upon this singular piece of paper. It appeared to have been mistakenly placed in my file-because it actually belonged to my paternal grandmother. Those kinds of accidents do not just happen to anyone, nor do they happen often at all!!! But I took it as a very clear sign that my (long passed-yet just as much loved) Nana, had wanted me to make an appointment with Dr. Ballet. I decided if he no longer practiced medicine, then I was going to call myself “crazy”.. haha. But- SURE ENOUGH, HE STILL PRACTICES!!! (Mind you, the letter found in MY records was dated for sometime in the late 70s/early 80s). Fast forward about a week later-to the date of my first visit with Dr. Ballet- I was so excited for a doc appointment that day- anyone would have thought I were insane!! :) When he finally got to my room, he… just about lost his mind reading that letter he’d typed up for my Nana, more years ago than I’d even been alive!!!! And it isn’t even the reason I loved Dr. Ballet, but, feeling so strongly that my Nana played the role in it all- (not feeling.. KNOWING..) only made it all just that much more incredible for us BOTH. Thanks Dr. Ballet!!! I’ll be back!!! Xoxo Katie

Dr Ballet balet’s surgical performance returned strength and usefulness to my hand after another surgeon had worked on it. His staff was friendly and helpful, following up on several x-rays and cast changes to check the progress of the repair. PT was helpful and used the latest techniques and supplied me with helpful bracing during the healing process. Have had surgery on my other hand by a different surgeon (because I moved out of the area) and will go back to Dr Ballet to see if he can correct it. Good experience all around with Dr Ballet and his office.

I will never go back to this Dr. Again, and his staff don't know their right hand from their left.

Stay far far away from this doctor and his office. The staff is rude and unprofressional. As for Dr. Ballet himself, he is old and tired and needs to retire. His bedside manner is non-existent. He was not interested in treating my condition, which he labeled a simple sprain and told me to "suck it up." Not only was this not a simple sprain, it was actually a complete rupture of the tendon, A3 and A4 pulleys and a torn ligament. He did not correctly diagnose my injury which led to improper treatment, delay in overall treatment that could have worked had it been addressed from the beginning. I have been left disabled in my dominant hand with no hope of every recovering full use.

This doctor's neglect has contributed to my losing my home, losing my job of 11 years and for being on unemployment off and on for over 3 years. AND, not one other doctor would help in my cause against what this surgeon did to me. They agreed, however, about his neglect, and the abandonment of my orthodepic therapy, but not ONE of this surgeon's "Brotherhood" would stand up for me, the now poor and losing my home. I question whether this doctor's degree is actually authentic? His word to honor the Hippocratic Oath certainly means are not.
