Dr. Frederick Anthony Brown

Dr. Brown was very unprofessional. He was very condescending as he discussed my medical issues in attempt to sell me various products such as Co-Q10, testosterone, thyroid hormone, platelet rich plasma treatments all on my first visit. When I asked him for the evidence behind these supplements and the costs, he was unable to provide this information to me. He sat and discussed my medical status to his nurse practitioner in front of me to try to pressure me to buy his supplements. He used several expletives during our visit that was unreasonable and unprofessional. He is clearly concerned about promoting his products without any clear plan or objectives for me. That was the most discouraging doctor's visit Ive ever attended. A few months later, I ask for a referral to see a specialist, the front office person says she can provide me the referral, then three weeks later, no referral and I call and they state that Dr. Brown has to see me in his office which was not told to me initially

For over 2 weeks my blood pressures would reach as high as 150/110. I set my appt, then confirmed my visit by telephone and mentioned to Dr. Brown's office that I do not want to see a nurse practitioner. I only want to visit with Dr. Brown. The day of my appt., I was taken to a private room after waiting 30+ mins a lady walks in like she was " boss lady in charge" and mumble something to me (I'm assuming her name). She tells me Dr. Brown was busy and she will share my info with him. I told her I can reschedule. She walks out, then Dr. Brown walks in and starts yelling at me about not wanting to speak with his trainee/nurse practitioner. I have HBP. Yelling increases stress. I could have had a stroke. Dr. Brown also laughed at me when I told him my hair is falling out and my hair length is 1-2 inches long. This guy is condescending and very arrogant. I had to ask him questions twice because either he does not' care or he was not paying any attention to me. Don't buy anything he tries… to sell you.

My visit was awful. I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time. A nurse practitioner asked me a series of questions that was inconsistent with what I went for (allergies). She was nice but the doctor was very condescending and aggressive. I was left waiting and waiting for him until finally I told the front desk I had to leave for another appointment. He came out and talked to me in the hall, not in a room & for all of 2 minutes. He was extra loud & condescending and it was very embarrassing. He told me I had IBS ( again I went for seasonal allergies) and he hadn’t even examined me or taken any tests. I REFUSED BLOOD WORK because the reason that was given to me on why they wanted labs was inconsistent with allergy testing!!! I am sneezing and she wanted to run labs to test Thyroid, Blood Pressure, etc. She was taking to me about the Keto diet and about some food allergy testing that isn’t covered by insurance. She quoted me $500. In the middle of me refusing blood work and telling… him I’d waited for over an hour, he walks off and tells the front desk to allow me reschedule and he walks off. The nurse practitioner them gave me a pamphlet for this $500 test. Someone should review his practice, like the medical board.

Dr. Brown and his staff make going to the doctor a pleasant experience. Friendly administrative staff and a wonderful PA make the dreaded doctor visit not so dreadful.

The staff is very friendly. I really got to know everyone including the doctor. I am feeling MUCH better since I've been under his care. He has corrected my hormonal and thyroid balance. I feel like I'm on the right track with my health. He's a great doctor!

Dr. Brown hit the ground running and assessed my general health and what needed to be done to fix what was wrong. Dr. Brown's enthusiasm and caring attitude were immediately apparent.
