Dr. De La Vega is THE MOST on it, thorough, and responsive neurologist there is. He’s been helping us throughout my mom’s extremely complex neurological condition which has been so overwhelming but he’s the one doctor out there who TRULY CARES. His passion for his work shows and we can’t recommend him enough. His assistant Auzay is the most helpful, friendly, responsive and joy to work with. They’re the dream team and we are so grateful for everything they do.

Honestly, it almost seems silly to go to the GP and get one of those regular "Medicare wellness checks" when you have Dr. De La Vega. He is much more of an internist, an old school practitioner though he's not old. His communication with the family by phone and even FAX is unparalleled. We sleep better knowing he is there for us. Dr. De La Vega is a workhorse. He's at the hospital until late making rounds and taking phone calls from day patients. One of the main reasons my family doesn't move from San Diego is the support and excellent medical treatment of this doctor. If you put a lot into your own care and the care of your family members, he will meet you halfway. I wish even ten percent of Drs were like this, because I would search and find them, it's such a great experience.

Dr DLV is the most thorough doctor my wife and I have ever dealt with in the medical profession. He saved my wife’s life from a serious condition and has put me on the path to resolve my own setbacks. This doctor will get to the core of an issue and not give up on a solution. He will refer to other specialists if necessary without an ego in his way. Dr. DLV is a very unique and special individual that’s so hard to find, we are greatful we are under his care. Paul K

Wouldn't trust my life with anyone else!!! I think Dr. DLV would have 5 stars if he hired better office staff. I wish more people were as intelligent and sensitive as Dr. Dela Vega.
