Dr. Frederick A. Gulmi, MD

I am a physician myself and I brought my father who is also a physician to Dr Gulmi recently and Dr Gulmi has THE WORST bedside manners I’ve ever seen. As a physician myself, I would absolutely be embarrassed and ashamed of myself for acting like him. He completed a procedure on my father and then went on vacation for two weeks immediately after and told my father he can simply see his results if he has cancer or not on his MyChart. What kind of doctor would ever say that ??? Diagnosis of cancer is a critical diagnosis and not something that can just be seen on MyChart as if it’s just another basic lab test. After my father’s procedure, he was sent to the PACU for recovery and his nurses sent him home within a couple hours. My father (who is in his mid 70’s) was still sedated, dizzy, and couldn’t even remember anything because he was so sedated. Dr Gulmi had no partners on call for him while on vacation for 2 weeks. This is just pure malpractice and he honestly needs to be fired.

I called for an appointment, they said I have to wait almost two months to see the doctor. I made the appointment. I took off from work and went for my appointment. I registered and waited for twenty minutes. the nurse call me in and to the my vitals. the phone rang, she answered and said you have a patient. He was still sleeping home, the nurse tried to cover for him. I was angry. I waited so long and they took me in and the doctor was sleeping. I lost a day at work I think he is very negligent and not caring.
