The office was dated and not clean. The doctor did not seem to know what he was talking about and never looked me in the eye when speaking to me. The equipment used to check eyesight was from the 1960s! A Very unprofessional office. I made an appointment with another doctor the next day to address my problem.

Went in for an annual eye check up so I could re-up on my contacts and it was coded as a medical diagnosis. My insurance company refuses to pay because Dr. Mausolf didn't mark it as an annual medical check up. Called in to the business department and the lady on the phone just repeated "we have this problem a lot and there is nothing I can do". Overall, l wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I find it hard to believe that a company would purposely write up a code that they know the insurance company won't cover, but they do it all the time.

I went in with a blocked tear duct. I was supposed to hear from them about scheduling surgery, but it's been over a month and they haven't returned my call.

He couldn't or wouldn't tell me why he was doing certain tests. He didn't tell me why he was prescribing me medications. My wait was an hour from the time I walked in to the time I was seen by the doctor both times. He was not pleasant to talk with. He didn't know what Latisse is and he is an eye doctor that I was seeing for an eyelash issue. I feel that this was the worst doctor I have ever encountered and will be taking my information from his office and seeing another doctor even if that means that I am starting over from scratch. The office was straight out of the 70's and the the equipment was as well. The lighting was not conducive to him even being able to see my eyes without much help - let alone the nurse being able to see to write notes. One lady in the waiting room walked out and said that she would never be back due to we had both been there 45 minutes at that point without being even called to the back.

Not uncommon to wait 1, 2, 2 1/2 hours just to be called back into an exam room. Then after a Technician finishes their screening, a person may wait another 30, 45, or 60 minutes to be seen by the doctor.Poor office management!

He is so highly regarded all over the country that he is booked solid for months but does work patients who really need it medically into his full schedule, which is why there is waiting time to get appointments & waiting time at the appointment time. He is worth the wait.

Has NO bedside manner. Never on time and doesn't care how long you have to wait.

Have waited for more than three hours to see the doctor for less than 10 minutes. He doesn't listen, and doesn't tell you what is actually wrong. When he doing exams, he dictates notes to a nurse, but rarely translates those notes into a comprehensible statement for the patient.

Would not recommend. Procedure was not explained fully. If it had been, I would have said NO. Poor bedside manner, poor time management in office.
