Dr. Frederick Clapp Roediger, MD

While my spouse and I feel that Dr. Roediger is competent, his manner is clinically neutral (read: "dry") and somewhat off-putting, although scrupulously polite. He appears to be very focused on the idea that he, as *THE* doctor, is in charge and under no circumstances should the patient do anything but sit there and listen. Heaven forbid (!!) the patient or the patient's spouse should ask questions or contribute information that may be relevant, in which case he responds with an always curt but polite "possibly" - or something to similar effect and shuts down that avenue of exploration. While we understood that as a specialist he is limited (somewhat) to his area of expertise, he comes across as disinterested in or downright hostile to exploring any tangential areas in which he could not be considered the "expert." Although, fortunately, it will not be necessary for us to see an otolaryngologist again, were we to have had to do we would seek out someone else.

I went for vocal cord issue and he explained in detail what the problem was, showed me the enlarged images on the screen after he had examined them with a camera device , and gave me options as to how the problem could be managed. Really liked him.

Dr. Roediger is a very warm and pleasant person, and is an outstanding physician. I was having a difficult time, and he was very faithful in visiting me and very thorough in follow-up.

He is a life saver!

This doctor is excellent. Wonderful concern, professionalism and extra effort to share his knowledge and expertise. Staff working directly with him are excellent. Front end staff seem a bit stressed and slightly unprofessional or perhaps, untrained on customer relations. This I experienced both over the phone and in person. I got seen at 11:45 for a 11:00 appointment. But, Dr. Roedigger is worth it!

Dr. Roediger is an exceptional physician. He is very personable and has a great bedside manner. He has a confidence about him yet is very approachable. He answers questions and educates patients in such a way that the information is easily understood. My surgical site healed quickly and with minimal discomfort. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this physician-His office staff are pleasant and helpful. They are very willing to work with you in making appointments at your convenienc. The office itself is bright and modern.
