Dr. Fredric Warren Feist, MD

Dr.Fiest is the most wonderful doctor in the world. he holds a very close relationship with his patients. my own experience was in alabama, he was my gyn when i was pregnant with my son. he was at the hospital from across town when i arrived at the hospital to have my son. my sons heart beat stopped and mine started dropping and he made it there and had us in delivery room and saved both our lives in 5 minutes. besides even that he was the most perfect doctor.when he moved i cried for years especially when i became pregnant again 7 years later when i tried to find him i would have went all the way to california for him to be my dr. with my daughter and everything else i could have needed a gyn for. i didnt go to any other dr. till i was 6 months pregnant and after i couldnt find him. last but not least his wife Karen and their daughters was beautiful and she and i was pregnant at the same time,that was all a very memorable time for me and my lil alien baby boy. missin you guys

This office was totally unprofessional. I had to have surgery (hysterectomy). It was nothing but one problem after another to get it scheduled. The doctor's converstation in the room was sometimes inappropriate and did not apply at all to the visit in most cases (music, politics, etc.) I think he felt he was joking, but his language took it too far. He spends alot of time with you but not on what he should be. This doctor also almost let me die after the surgery. I was told if I had any problems to call the office immediately and they would get me right in. I did and told them my symptoms. I was told I could not get in until 3 days later. As I waited for my appointment my symptoms got worse. When I went in I told the doctor all my symptoms with my husband with me as witness, and the doctor told me it was my body healing and cleaning itself out after the surgery. (Dark tarry stools, extreme fatigue, dizziness bordering on fainting spells, loss of appetite, etc.) He said I was not… processing my hormones effectively and game me a hormone spray and sent me home. Two days later I collapsed in my bathroom after vomiting blood and was rushed to the emergency room by ambulance. I had internal bleeding and had to have 4 pints of blood and a couple of days stay in intensive care. On my post op follow up, I informed him of what happened. He looked really scared and said I never told him my symptoms. He then looked back at his notes and found I had. He only could say sorry. Sorry? I will never go back to the doctor that almost let me die. Also he is extremely late for his appointments. I was also to be released from the hospital and was told he would be there at a certain time. He showed up several hours late to the point I thought I would be staying another night. I kept calling his office and got the run around on so many different things. My recommendation is stay away.

Doctor was nice and all, but his staff is not professional, was promised a date a month out, then staff put someone else in that date, for surgery. I called a few weeks after my visit to see about Pre-Op appt.Yolanda tells me she has 2 patients in front of me & tells me she will then call me, a week and a half goes by I call yet again, Yolanda tells me same old story about 2 patients being in front of me, so I ask am I still going to have my surgery on promised date, her reply was "NO" that it will be yet another month out. This is VERY un professional to me. I have been suffering from these symptoms for a very long time, and I dont think its fare that she can pick & choose whos more important and gets surgery first, I waited for a month for this appointment, then I get put on a shelf and forgotten.

This Dr. is nice enough, but it takes a very long time to get into the office. once in the office, it takes even longer before the Dr. comes in. We're talking about 2+ hours for the entire wait. No exaggeration! Also, there were some questionable comments/jokes made by the Dr. which I think he was completely oblivious to. On the bright side, he is very thorough & spends a lot of time with you once he actually shows up. I just hope he isn't the one delivering my baby...I'd hate for him to be late for that!
