Dr. Fritz Oswald Franke, MD

The Dr was amazing I came in as a former marine suffering from PTSD and anxiety to the point I wasn’t sleeping I was constantly crying and beyond depressed. After multiple visits with other therapists and doctors this one really helped me. He listens. He offers me what I needed and it was just to feel human like everyone else and not shove some fake ideas of meditation or something instead he just helped me figure myself out and that’s what I needed. He’s defiantly and old cat but you can trust his expertise he defiantly knows his stuff

I was a marine and when I was out I reached my breaking point of no return I stopped sleeping I couldn’t control my crying and thoughts of suicide I was desperate to find anyone that would meet with me and take new patients and from the beginning after being turned away or put on multiple waiting list I came across Dr Fritz and his staff and started seeing me the very next day and offered me exactly what I needed and it was just someone to listen and not tell me what I was messed up about or diagnosed right after instead he made me feel human and not crazy and I began the process of healing. I’ve made significant progress and if you’re someone like me looking for the perfect doctor to listen and not shove their coping skills or make weekly challenges and above all need just understanding Dr. Franke offers that. He knows his stuff he’s an older cat who’s defiantly been around the block a few times which was why I trusted him and his opinion. His receptionists are great aswell they even… text you reminders about your appointment and can easily text and ask them for a letter of your diagnosis for w.e reason also he prescribed meds.

I was over charged $50, the secretary didn't return the money instead said she was going to keep it for when I be late and she has to charge me. for this last instance year she charged me two visits, BUT I had already meet all my deductibles, I had to involved my insurance in this matter. When I told her the dates and amounts she said she would get back to me. She got back to me when I re-schedule an appointment and then I got the bill in the mail for the $50 dollars cancellation fee (which I didn't cancelled i re scheduled)plus a check with my over charged fees. Basically in order to pay me my money, she created a fake cancellation. I wonder if the doctor is aware of this and agrees to it or he is not aware of this scam. I have already talked to my insurance about this. I hope no one else is robbed by this office. I had to cancel my credit card in order to not be changer for money I didn't owe. I have a new doctor.

Do not trust the staff!! The doctor is great. However, the lady receptionist will screw you over by not calling your insurance or being honest. and then later you will receive a bill in the mail. Make sure you are not being scammed!!

Dr. Franke is not for everyone, but if you find that your are comfortable with his treatment style he can help you make progress you might have never thought possible. He will be authoritarian and make light of your symptoms at times. These are therapeutic techniques, not personality flaws. You must trust him and let the therapy take its course. Trust me, he knows exactly what he is doing and has objectives for each session. But again, you must trust him and commit for the long haul. Honesty is also essential, for your own sake. If you want more than medical management of your symptoms, if you are ready to commit to real change and bring an open mind and fearless attitude to each session, you might find your symptoms improving while also growing as a person and discovering the stranger that is you. You will probably find yourself either intrigued and excited by this possibility, or skeptical. You'll know from your reaction if a visit with Dr. Franke is worth exploring. You… will also get to know a brilliant, humane man who will treat you as a person and handle your unique issues with delicacy and skill.

I went to see Dr. Franke to seek professional help for my OCD and anxiety. He sat back smug in his chair the whole time and didn't seem interested in helping me. He seemed amused as I described my symptoms. Waste of time, made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.

Disliked this doctor very much. On top of him being morbidly obese, he laughed at me when I told him about some of my personal problems.

He never gave me insightful input, clarity of the medications he promptly wrote and did not provide a diagnosis. I was made to wait a half hour past the time of my appointment. I would not recommended this doctor. The intake lady was very nice though and seemed to care more about you then the doctor.

I liked that the staff got me in quickly and took my insurance Doctor was warm and understanding Felt better within 8 days

Don't count on receiving your time allotment. Supposed to be 45 minutes, but more times than not it is less.
