Dr Gurbir Paul Singh Tiwana

I came to Dr. Tiwana with a basic request, 'I want to breathe better.' Dr. Tiwana indicated he very sincerely wanted to help me achieve that result. After cat scans of my facial structure the surgery was scheduled with the idea I was going to get what I requested. Following the surgery, at my first post-op visit, I realized nothing was done to the inside of my nose. The only marked difference was the very tip of my nose, which was discussed prior to surgery and was agreed to as a secondary process, the primary being to breathe better. Upon asking why nothing was done to help me breathe better, a lengthy explanation (with cat scan photos) indicated there was nothing that could be done to help me breathe better with out risk of serious complications. Nothing was stated prior to the surgery about the reality that nothing could be done to remedy my primary reason for seeking Dr. Tiwana. So, in order to continue treatment that was secondary at best, only if the primary could be achieved,… the surgery went forward and I was never consulted about the difficulty surrounding my primary request. I was left with a massive bill for a surgery that I only agreed to 'IF' I would be able to breathe better. I now have a nose that runs almost constantly. I haven't been able to eat one meal since without constant drainage while eating and for some time following. I still do not have feeling in the end part of my nose. I absolutely DO NOT recommend Dr. Tiwana to ANYONE! This person is not concerned as much about his patients and he is his income. Stay as far away from this Dr. as humanly possible!!! I gave him one star only because I can't give any lower score in this review site.

Dr. Tiwana performed corrective Class 3 maxillo facial surgery for my daughter to correct her severe under bite. Her surgery went very well and the results were simply excellent. Dr.Tiwana was very particular about the details and the precision of the surgery and the results were a testament to his skills and his passion for excellence. His bedside manners were very comforting and he very patiently answered all of the questions that were asked of him.
