I agree. The previous comments are obviously bogus. Anyone who knows Dr Diaz or has seen him knows that. He is an excellent doctor with a friendly and helpful staf.

Dr. Gabriel Diaz is incompetent, inarticulate and to say to me after taking up five minutes of his time he has other patients is incomprehensible. My loved one died one day after getting him out of the worst hospital system I have ever been inside of in the US. Several people committed that Dr. Diaz is an idiot. I agree.

The reviews posted are laughable. Sad that people have nothing better to do. I have seen Dr Diaz for years now. My mother Is his patient as well and I have referred several friends to Dr Diaz. He has always been very respectful, courteous and professional. In fact, after seeing other doctors he was the one who finally was able to give me a correct diagnosis. His staff is very courteous and and always work with me when I need to see Dr Diaz sooner than usual even though, because everyone knows he is a great doctor, and wants to see him, no wonder he has a 2 or 3 month wait for appointments. These previous comments are obviously bogus.

My brother has cerebral palsy and my father and I are the ones who take him. Every single time we go he comments about my brothers physical deformities and tries to blame them on us even though his body naturally grew that way. He ridicules my father and tells him he is not a good father.. My mother passed away and my father is the one who cares for him and does a spectacular job. I don't think his degree gives him the right to insult us. STAY AWAY FROM HIM

DO NOT ACQUIRE THIS DOCTOR AS YOUR NEUROLOGIST! He is ridiculous. My sister started having seizures last year. Hes the only DR that she can see due to her type of insurance. He never listens to her as a patient and said its all in her head. He actually recommened that she go see a mental health physician? What the heck? This guy is worthless and is a joke! Nothing but grief caused by this man that calls himself a doctor. Im not surprised that other patients posted similar experiences. This is so upsetting to me.

Run....don't look back find another doctor. Unfortunately this doctor is unwilling to work. He told me that my problems was psychiatric and recommended that I cheer up and forget about it. In his opinion, after knowing me for 3 minutes and not even reviewing my history or any of my studies my illness was all in my head. I guess his crystal ball does his diagnosing for him? While I don't expect my doctors to have all the answers, I do however expect them to have the right questions and admit when they just don't know. I was very dissapointed.

It was terrible, I waited 4 hrs. In the lobby, and he had no assistants, to take your vitals. There was no hand sanitizers anywhere, the bed for patients had no paper covering it was more like a table. Everything was just terrible very unprofessional and very uncomfortable. The visit with him took just 2 minutes and he wants to see me in another six weeks. No thank you, never gonna go back.

Waited 3 hours to see this doctor, only to find out the MRI he'd ordered (which I paid for entirely out of pocket) was utterly useless to diagnose my condition. Ugh.

Staff unprofessional, office poor management. Schedules twp patients for same time. Initial diagnosis incorrect and time passed where corrective action could be taken.

Many others to choose from in McAllen area. I suggest you avoid this doctor and his staff.
