Just terrible with people don't understand why he's a Dr. Love to patient shame. Told me I need a shrink not him....

Awful experience. Wanted to do a procedure on my neck that was done at OCPBC by a different physician months prior and made my condition severely worse. The complications I have had since getting cervical facet injections done at this office have been debilitating, and Dr. Mattei, himself, had told me & treated me for the reaction I had to these injections the first time around. Yet, he saw no problem with the fact that he kept pushing me to get it done again, the SAME EXACT PROCEDURE AND MEDICATIONS, that I have had a terrible reaction to and his solution to that was “we will just knock you out”. Why would I 1) get something done AGAIN that not only didn’t help me at all, but made things SO MUCH WORSE 2) ever put myself in a situation where I know I have had a bad reaction to medications and put myself in the position to get them again?! And unconscious no less. When I said this to Dr. Mattei he literally acted like a child, told me I am being difficult because I was questioning him… and literally walked out of the room and slammed the door. Leaving me to let myself out. Please stay away!
