Dr. Tannenbaum was on call when I called tonight about a 100.9 fever and being 6 months pregnant. I was concerned. He answered very casually and said I should call my primary to see what I need. He downplayed how im feeling and was apathetic. You're an obgyn, you should help me. I do not recommend him!

I have been having a great experience so far. He did a vbac for me. And when I had complications at the beginning of current pregnancy he was really nice and on top of stuff. Nurses and receptionists are great in his office. All in all, a great doctor!

My initial appointment with him was fine but very rushed because he's in and out of the office to deliver babies at the nearby hospital. However when I had followup questions for him because my first appointment was not thorough, my 3 calls and messages to his office were not returned. I know much more successful practices and busier doctors who make a point to personally return calls within a few days at most, and often the same day. His office suggested he may have tried to call but not gotten through though with caller ID and a voicemail, I don't see that as a likely possibility. That was frustrating, however the nurse there is great. From this experience, i dont think he is very accessible and i wouldnt recommend him if you want more personal care and individual attention.
