Gabriela Vargas, MD, MPH

Dr. Gabriela Vargas is a pediatric psychologist at Boston Children’s Hospital who specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families coping with behavioral, emotional, developmental, and medical challenges. She works collaboratively within multidisciplinary care teams to provide evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy for patients with complex health conditions, helping families navigate the emotional and social impacts of illness while promoting resilience and healthy development. Dr. Vargas’ clinical interests include pediatric behavioral health, adjustment to chronic illness, anxiety, coping strategies, and family-centered care.
