Dr. Gabrielle R Bonhomme, MD

Saw Dr. Bonhomme today and I have to say she was delightful. From beginning to end, this visit could not have been any better! Her staff was very caring and competent and she treated me like I was the only patient in the office. Her knowledge and expertise was evident from the moment she walked in the room and I feel very fortunate to have seen her and receive her expert opinion.

Dr Bonhomme is a horrible Dr / person. Thank God for the wonderful doctor that is treating me presently, my retinal dystrophy is progressing continually where I can't even make out faces anymore, reading signs in front of me is impossible unless I'm looking at them coming up on my side, objects R not visible to me if I'm looking straight ahead. She actually told me I was making this up, which is an awful thing to say to somebody who is experiencing this. I have worked in the medical field for several years, and I'm very professional, efficient, happy but very very angry that this Dr was actually paid to tell me that. Office staff and other professionals there are very courteous .

Doctor patient relation / interaction is excellent. Precise and accurate diagnosis after all appropriate testing. More than ample time spent with me. Used terminology I understood regarding my diagnosis. Permitted me time to ask my questions and interact with her in discussion. Extremely professional and compassionate.

Very knowledgeable. Very friendly and nice staff made the long wait feel worth it. Did not rush, probably what caused the back up in the waiting room, lol

This woman is a very caring person. Her bedside manner is impecable. I couldn't brag about her enough once I got home and told my family members. She will dig and dig until she figures out what the problem is. I've been Dr.ing for a month now and not ONE Dr. had blood drawn to even begin to check for a problem. As a matter of fact, when I called (yes I had to call) my Neurologist for results from I test I had done, her response was "we'll see what Dr. Bonhomme has to say". She is very thorough. So be prepared for your initial visit to be at least 4-5 hours long. She doesn't just look at you and leave the room. She talks TO you, not AT you.

Dr Bonhomme listens to the patient, explains the issues very well.

Highly recommended!!! Took time to answer my questions and asked many questions of her own. Very knowledgeable doctor.

The entire staff acted professionally and treated me with respect. All of the tests were clearly explained to me and why they were necessary. Dr. Bonhomme went out of her way to fit me into the schedule. She agreed to come in to examine me even though she wasn't scheduled to be at the Clinic on that day. She was very warm and caring and took the time to listen to any questions or concerns that I had related to my problems.I was very pleased with the demeanor of all of the people and the concern that they showed.I would highly recommend Dr. Bonhomme based on my experience.

I can honestly say that this ordeal with my eye has been the scariest thing in my entire life, however Dr. Bonhomme and her staff at Mercy made my experience wonderful. From the ladies that conduct the early tests to the residents to the people that took my blood to the MRI tech and everyone at UPMC. I no why so many people speak so highly of UPMC Doctors and of the Eye and Ear CLinic now. I feel that I was put in the best possible hands for everything and I feel that I am very lucky. Everyone at those facilities deserve a big thank you and to Dr. Bonhomme kkeo up the good work, may you have a long career because I believe people need more Doctors like you.

I finally found a DR. to help me and who took the time to acess the problem.
