Dr. Gabrielle Oconnor, MD

Dr. O'Connor is the best in her field. She takes time to explain things, looks at the overall picture of your health and explains how things are connected and possible affected I only wish she could be my primary doctor.

I love her- she has a lovely sense of humor and I’ve recommended her to my friends. She’s very knowledgeable and pretty much the best doctor I’ve had in a very long time.

Dr. O'Connor is SO underappreciated; maybe some patients don't realize how grossly unqualified a high percentage of doctors are (and I speak as a person who has seen at least 30 specialists for a mystery illness that culminated in my going from specialist to specialist.) I encountered maybe three great ones, four so/so ones, approximately 15 underwhelming ones, and the rest offered zero to me (or as far as I could tell) the medical industry as whole. Dr. O'Connor, by the way, confirmed a diagnosis and has been treating me ever since. It's an extremely rare, genetically-inherited disease; she knew immediately about the disease, including the biochemistry behind it. Best of all, she may not be warm and pampering, but she advocates for her patients (which I prefer). She's a renegade who will do what needs to be done, whether or not it's the "popular" or "standard" way. If you want to waste time, money, and what precious little energy you have left on doctors who will probably no… nothing (or if they do, put you on such a conservative course of action that you may give up before you find answers or medication to give you any quality of life, that's your call. If you want a Mayo or Cleveland Clinic or research-level scientist who makes immediate decisions based on the latest facts and unbelievable knowledge in microbiology, biochemistry, genetics (who reads the latest peer-reviewed journal articles for FUN), make an appointment with Dr. O'Connor ASAP.

I have been seeing Dr. O'Connor for about a year now. As a new patient during the first year my visits were more often, and I have since moved to steady state treatment. I have never waited more than 5 minutes. I am a Healthcare Process Director for two national hospital organizations, and therefore critical of office procedures. A score of excellent is rare.

Someone should inform Dr. O'Conner that her office manager is costing her money and reputation and is extremely offensive to her patients.

Incredibly smart doctor. She will take the time to answer all questions. Come prepared with all you symptoms or questions and you'll leave with the answers needed to wrap your head around what you need to do or stop doing.
