Dr. Gail Benet Thaler, MD

Dr Thaler is thee most caring, understanding, always knows about the newest on medication and is on top of the latest on mental health. She has the most empathy. I love you Dr. Thaler, you have made my life a reason to live!

Loved my counselor, but had to see Thaler once a month. Don't like her attitude, not helpful, more bossy, her way is THE way. She got into a fight over the phone with the surgeon who caused my PTSD. He says no way could I get it from waking up before surgery was over so I got to feel and hear them cutting me, felt every single suture and staple, the sound of the staples and feeling them close the wound-spine surgery! Instead of turning the gas back on, he just told them to hurry and finish. Why, without my permission, would she call him and chew his behind that her diagnosis was correct. It was, but why the call and fight? Lost two docs and my wonderful counselor over her attitude. She should have laughed it off and been professional instead of calling him and discussing my personal records with him! Really unbelievable, but, believe it!

I appreciate Dr. Thaler's keen mind and awareness of current medications. I like her direct, no-nonsense style. I see her for medication management, which is her specialty, not therapy.
