Dr. Galina Novgorodsky Lensky, MD

She may be very intelligent or know medication but I left her practice after 3 visits. She gets up, moves around the office, questions in a confrontational style. Not a good listener.

While a nice person, Dr. Lensky is impossible to reach after seeing her for a few months, I grew tired of her inability to respond to messages, and her inability to keep track of records. Dr. Lensky takes 5+ days to respond to calls if responding at all. She then loses patient records and seems generally unable to recall (or look at, because the records are lost) treatments and medication taken by patients oftentimes asking the same questions about dosage. When having to remind a physician of currents courses of treatment in full detail, patient time is wasted. Well intentioned but not a good example for those who are struggling. With mental health differences, I hope to see a professional who is able to model behaviors I am trying to gain, like organization and attentiveness. She has too many patients to keep trying I guess.

Galina does not care about the true need of her patients. Initial appointment was okay, more of a get to know me thing. I asked when we could discuss the problems I am having with my medicine she said we have to schedule another appointment. At the next appointment she repeated every single question from the initial appointment. I had to stop and ask why we were repeating the initial appointment. She then asked what was the purpose of this current appointment. This was at the end of the appointment! And her scripts aren't refillable so you have to constantly go back to her and pay the copay.

Completely unprofessional. She spent my entire appointments interrupting me and twisting my words to fit what she thought. I was extremely over medicated and had extreme side effects that she basically ignored.

I saw Dr. Lensky in her Philadelphia office. She is tough, but fair, and focused above all on using our time as efficiently as possible.

I saw Dr Galina Lensky in her Philadelphia office. She was interested in listening to me as a person, and in providing most complete care in a caring, respectful and individualized way.  Speaking with her helped me better understand myself and learn how to balance  myself. I highly recommend her.

I had my first visit with Dr Lensky about a month and a half ago. Although I was a little intimidated with her stern demeanor, she made it clear to me that my well-being was her only concern, and I think that's what I need to get better. I've bounced around psychiatrists enough already!
