Dr. Gannavarapu Vn Murty, MD

I have been a patient for years with multiple chronic health issues following a serious motor vehicle accident. I have learned more than I cared to know about my health needs and Doctor's and feel very capable of assessing a Doctor's skills as far as patient/Doctor relations. Dr. Murty had a kind enough bed side manner but did not even attempt to ascertain what new issues I was dealing with my current complaint. He was, in my opinion, very compliant when it came to getting Any medication I wanted. Basically, given I did need multiple refills I simply asked for refills and realized it would be best to find another physician as far as any diagnostic assesment for my current new problem. I was saddened to see this Doctor seems to be just marking time with the nursing staff providing any real assesments by taking and reporting vitals. In an area that has a significant elderly population and extreme poverty this is a dangerous situation. The minimal care is being provided and likely… being paid by Medicare and Medicaid with clearly not enough oversight of a Doctor that appears well satisfied getting a paycheck and truly minimal efforts. This is not a happy situation for me to leave this honest but negative comment. This community struggles on many fronts and needs a better Doctor to serve them. Find that other Doctor and Good Luck.
