Came to hospital room before surgery and told me that I really need to follow the rules and left. Never explained what he was going to do or how long he thought it might take. No comforting words of his confidence and abilities. Then after surgery he came to the room again and said you need to follow the rules. Then left. This guy never explained what he did and how it went or showed any type of care or compassion. Why did he feel the need to tell me to follow the rules before and after surgery? I was never presented anything on paper explaining the rules of surgery. I didn't even know there were rules to follow. I wonder if it was because I didn't stay at the hospital the night before surgery. I was planning to stay but on my way to the room I saw a large number of rat traps and an actual live rat running down the hallway in the same building where they wanted me to stay the night in. I wonder if he would have stayed the night in that room if he had surgery the next day.?
