Dr. G. Radford Moeller, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Moller's for 2 years while I was in N.C.. I found him to be a very kind and intelligent person who would listen to me and discuss my questions in terms I could understand. He seemed to really care about my health and my own outlook on my health. I now live over 600 miles away or I would still be seeing him.

I have been with Dr muller 3+year. Im 64 an i couldn't ask for a better Doctor!!

I was a patient of Dr. Mueller in 1985. I feel like he saved my life. I also found him insensitive, and perhaps uncaring initially. Once I got to know him, I saw him differently. I have Lupus and it's still seen as a hypochondria where I now reside. I'm considering driving 5 hours if they'll see me now. I am having symptoms daily now and not receiving needed are.

Rude, arrogant, impatient man with zero compassion. Not the kind of person you want to have to talk to when you are already not feeling well. Perfect example of a person who may have the training but has completely lost touch with the caring side of medicine.

Seems competent and caring.

Had referral but could not get appt for 4 months. His own staff member mentioned in confidence that there were openings but my insurance doesn't reimburse well so pts with better insurance were given priority. When finally seen Dr Garland (Rad)Moeller was arrogant and abrupt and made it clear that he did not agree with my Fam Dr diagnosis or with other test results stating that I should get "smart Docs to read them". He spoke continuously (often about his glorious credentials) but didn't listen and only asked questions to support his already formed opinion and had little patience for more than 1 word answers. Insurance was billed for level 5 (most comprehensive) visit when appt certainly did not meet the criteria for level 5. Also ordered unnecessary tests that had just been performed by Fam Dr because they could be done in Dr. Moeller's office and he could also bill for these.Very disconcerting experience for a sick and vulnerable patient. May be competent in specialty but could not… get past the rude, unprofessional, possibly fraudulant encounter. He bragged that he was the only rheumatologist for 6 counties so didn't have room in his schedule. Office staff had already told me he only allows them to book 1 new pt per day. Do yourself a favor, travel to Wilmington or Greenville and avoid maltreatment or giving any more $ to this awful guy.
