Dr. Garland D Scott, MD

He is an amazing doctor so easy and kind to talk to best Doctor i ever had

I highly recommend him, have been with him for 30 plus years. I moved but still drive 50 minutes to stay with him, I wish I could have him as my family doctor also.

I choose Dr. Scott because both my mother and my sister go to him. He is a wonderful doctor, very helpful, and though some appointments it seemed like I waited a long time, I didn't mind because I knew it was worth it. He delivered my first baby and I plan to have him deliver any other babies I have in the future. I was diagnosed with Pre-E and he was quick to ease my mind and explain to me what was going on and what our plan was. He's an amazing doctor!

We where going to see Dr Scott. The first appointment was a waste of time. We where there 5 min so they could take my weight and tell me my due date. The other two appointments the doctor was running so far behind the rescheduled the appointment the following week and on our way there called us and said he was behind over a hour and we told them to forget it we're finding a new doctor.

I have nothing but praise and admiration for Dr. Scott, I have always gotten right in for my appoointments and if I had any questions they were answered promptly. He showed concern and care for my health issue...I am feeling much better thanks to him and his staff. I would recommend him to anyone, he knows what he is doing!

I only had one encounter with Dr. Scott and it will be the ONLY one I ever have. I was hospitalized by one of his colleagues while I was going to school and it was during the one year I was without insurance. I was in horrendous pain and while we knew it was something gynecological, we hadn't solved the problem yet because I kept putting off appointments due to my demands with school. After being hospitalized, Dr. Scott was the doctor "on" that weekend. He walked into my room and the first words out of his mouth were "this is costing a lot of money". He never asked me how I felt, never asked me about my pain or any of my symptoms, he just explained how expensive treating me would be and how irresponsible it was to even allow me to be in the hospital. I had just been given a narcotic and was alone, but he forced me to make a surgical decision right then. NO WAY was I going to let that man touch me. He left the room and I called my family to come and get me. He came back and said he… "forgot to examine me to make sure it was safe for me to leave". If you want to risk your life and be treated like dirt as you do it...then this is the doctor for you!
