Dr. Kaitlin Jane Hanmer, MD

Wonderful, caring, knowledgeable doctor. She really cares about her patients and it shows. I know when I have issues that require an ob/gyne specialist, she gets me in and takes great care of me. She’s always great about communicating back to the primary doctor so the team is all on the same page.

I established care with OB/GYN Dr. Hanmer May 2022. I was really glad to find her to take care of me since she was absolutely wonderful. I called today to schedule my annual exam and was told she is not doing them since she is overwhelmed with surgeries and high risk pregnancies and I would have to see a midlevel or I could see a Family practice physician if I want a physician. This is absolutely unacceptable that I as a patient have established care with a physician and am now being denied care by that physician and pawned off on “providers” that do not have the same education or training of the one I choose to establish my care with. Patients have a right to choose who provides their care and deserve access to specialists. If Dr. Hanmer is so overwhelmed—hire another OB/GYN physician so the community can be properly served by OB/GYN physicians.
