Dr. Garner Philip Johnson, MD

By far, the most inhumane & patronizing doctor I have ever been to. He did a very painful procedure without any warning whatsoever. A few weeks later, someone who worked there said she was shocked he did that without sedation. Regarding one of the questions he had asked me, after I said "yes," I wanted to add a bit of information I thought would be helpful and he got red in the face, started almost laughing while shaking his head back and forth. He made the "stop" sign with his hand as if to say, "Don't bother, whatever you have to say is stupid and I don't want to hear it." I've never cried in front of a doctor but I did that day. In a truly heartless fashion, the only thing he said was, "You need some smelling salts?" As I was leaving, someone who worked there could see how upset I was and I told her what happened. She said, "He shouldn't be taking his bad moods out on his patients. I'm really sorry that happened." My experience with this guy, was nothing short of abusive.

Dr Garner Johnson saved my life. He is a caring responsible amazing surgeon. He always follows up long after surgery. I guess depending on the type of surgery you have.

Dr. Johnson performed by hemmorhoidectomy. Although the recovery was unpleasant (it's still worth it in the end) - I could not be happier with the outcome. I had a very bad case (internal and external) that bothered me for almost 20 years (I'm 47). I feel now like I've never had the problem. I just had a colonoscopy (6 mos. post-surgery) and the site is perfectly clear. Dr. Johnson did a FABULOUS job and I recommend him completely. Also, I had a few complications post-surgery (due to my own fault) and his care was just excellent.
