I feel morally obligated to let you know not to go to Metsi Care. This establishment claims to be “for the people” of Austin … primarily seeking out service industry to gain members when in fact it is just a giant pyramid scheme. This “direct primary care” specifically preys on the service industry community that can’t afford and is not usually provided conventional healthcare. This clinic is unhygienic, unprofessional, and a giant scam!!! He verbally has called multiple patients narcissist and belittles others any which way he can. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, ENERGY, AND HEALTH on this place.

Dr. Garrick at METSIcare has truly taken the anxiety out of going to the doctors for me. He’s super knowledgeable and caring and I feel like my care is in mind every time I visit. As someone who hasn’t been to the doctor for a while, I’m really happy to say I have somewhere I don’t mind making an appointment. Recently he removed a mole from my ear that had been making me self conscious for years. It’s been a few days and I truly feel so much more confident now that it’s gone! The pricing is amazing and the procedure itself was a breeze. I feel better now knowing I don’t have to worry about it. I’d definitely suggest y’all check him out. Not only is Dr.Garrick an amazing doctor full of knowledge and experience but he genuinely cares and listens to our concerns. The model he operates helps keep the costs low so we can focus on living a healthy life!

I’ve never been the type to go to a doctor unless I had a limb falling off. But upon having painful lumps in my stomach for weeks my wife insisted I called Dr. G. He’s been a long time health advocate in the service industry community. Turns out I had a stomach infection that if I had ended up going to the ER I would have waited hours and paid thousands of dollars! Dr. G got me in ASAP and we started treatments same day. A month and a half later, totally cured and back to my high active lifestyle with my family. I wouldn’t be the same without you Dr. G! My family and I are forever patients and forever grateful! ????????????

I have been a patient of Dr. Garrick's for a year now and my experience has been nothing but extremely positive. Some of the other reviews on this page have me flummoxed, as I personally have never had a doctor that is so genuinely caring and present with me as he is! Dr. Garrick truly listens to all of my health concerns and I never feel rushed during my appointments. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Garrick; he is highly skilled, experienced, knowledgeable, warm, and kind.

This dude is for sure running a scam!!! He told my partner at 5pm on a Friday- that her mammogram/mri looked like she had breast cancer. Then didn’t contact her till Tuesday and basically told her to calm down, then said the ONLY place she could go get a biopsy was some place in Dallas. The imaging place(akumen in round rock, also a big NO). Long story short, we got a new doctor and new images and the original set of images referred to slides that had been deleted from the report. They also tried to send her a bill for $1700 after she paid $500 out of pocket. Seriously RUN, complete scam artist- and an unmitigated arshole.

Dr. Garricks approach is very personable. It comes across that he genuinely cares about his patients and outcomes. Every time I’ve seen him, he takes the time to figure out the proper diagnoses. I would highly recommend.

The most off task, disinterested physician I have ever encountered. Presented with a bicondylar tibial plateau FX c avulsion FX of MCL @ femoral insertion, torn PCL, torn LCL with avulsion Fx at proximal fibula and torn meniscus. Required to see "treating" physician for Ortho referral. FINALLY saw Ortho 30 days post injury. Too late for ORIF. I now have permanent loss of function to knee, a disfiguring valgus and limp. No advocacy on behalf of patient on his part. Was required to see him for interim appointments. He barely reads charts, is unfamiliar with individual progress, and even failed to have one set of x-rays sent to radiologist for interpretation. The staff is miserable and disorganized or curt. I am now the unwilling participant in very poor patient care. My advice. Don't be the unwitting victim of skillfully negligent care.

Doesn't give one bit about patient's health and well being. Clearly hates his job, and so does his staff. Why did he get a job in patient CARE when he doesn't care about anything but himself and how good he thinks he looks. The staff are just as awful- really hate their jobs and all their faces shows it! Expect to wait over an hour to an hour and half- TO BE SEEN, and this is WITH an appointment! Expect to watch walk ins that came in an hour after you to go back first! HORRIBLE SERVICE all the way around!!! This man's medical license SHOULD BE REVOKED!
