I had an amazing experience with Dr. Leanord!

Dr. Leonard is very knowledgeable and experienced doctor. He’s very patient to answer all my questions and responsive at the patient portal. He makes me feel very reassured.

My wife used this practice, and while doctors were fine, their back office is totally incompetent, leading to screwed up insurance claims and tens of thousands of dollars of disputed bills. Avoid all doctors from this office unless you want to spend your kid's first year fighting with them over incorrect bills

I had the most amazing birthing experience with Dr. Garrick Leonard! He delivered my baby girl on May 12, 2019 (Mothers Day). She came on her exact expected due date. Dr. Leonard was very professional and calm during my delivery which in turn allowed for me to not panic. He coached me through the pushing and my baby girl was out of the womb in 13 minutes flat! I had 2nd degree rip and he basically put me back together perfectly which made for a great healing process. As a first time mom, leading up to my labor and delivery I had TONS of questions during my doctors visits and he answered them all without hesitation. Also the hospital Dr. Leonard is affiliated with and where I delivered was NYP - Weill Cornell. What a beautiful hospital and amazing staff of nurses!! They took great care of me. Everyone was so professional, nurturing and helpful. One nurse let forehead to forehead with me to help calm me when I was panicking about the pain getting an epidural... and it ended up not… hurting. They also taught my husband and I all the basics of taking care of a newborn from Breastfeeding, burping, how to properly hold, take the temperature etc. I am forever grateful for these women!! I will 100% be delivering my second baby at this hospital with Dr. Garrick Leonard!

Competent, professional, caring, puts you at ease that you’re in good hands

I am in the third trimester of my second pregnancy. (I saw a different OB from a different practice for my first.) This experience is so much better than my first time around. I came to Dr. Leonard as a graduated IVF patient at 10 weeks and he immediately instilled calm in me as I began to navigate this pregnancy. He's not an alarmist even with a patient of "advanced maternal age". He is intelligent and up to date on the latest research. Most importantly, he isn't patronizing! (This is a huge thing from an OB.) I have confidence in his care and always leave the office feeling reassured. Highly recommend.

Dr. Leonard is highly knowledgeable, experienced, and attentive. He clearly keeps up with advances in best practices in OB/GYN care and did a great job in discussing the pros and cons of prenatal testing in an unbiased way. He has provided excellent care for the duration of my pregnancy so far. He has efficiently answered my long lists of detailed questions about both his approach to care and various aspects of my pregnancy. His office is also generally good about answering questions via the online messaging system (e.g. about safety of various drugs).

Dr Leonard is calm and confident, the exact presence perfect for overseeing your pregnancy and delivery. He was respectful of my wishes towards a natural delivery and I felt heard and safe under his care.

This doctor is hard to contact and does not care about the abnormal results. My baby was diagnosed with severe heart problem. Neither the doctor who did the anatomy sonogram nor me could reach him for a week. I was abandoned by him. So if you can promise that everything is ok during your pregnant then it's no problem to choose this doctor- he will always say good/great to the patients, otherwise you should find another doctor who really take care of you and your baby.
