Never seen this doctor before . Came in room and yelled out iam not writing narcotics . This is not my doctor thank god. Went for a refill that’s on my chart. and he embarrassed me then I refused service right from the time he walked in and he didn’t leave iam in a wheel chair in pain . And now this dumb A€# is trying to be nice now. Talk about long term options when this is a short term Injury. Then he yells out to me real loud (what are u going to do )and I said I just want to walk What a rude doctor that never looked at me and waste my time and took my money.wow this doctor don’t know what he doing this .Oh then he writes me a Narcotic for tramadol and said you will like this. If I would have turn it in for pills I would be on the list. What a D””@ I ask for one refill and get nothing for this for short term injury .

i came in for refill, never seen this doctor before , comes in room and he yells out iam not writing any Narcotic. then i refused service sitting in a wheel chair in pain. now he brings up options after i refuse service , at some point he yelled at me , then writes script for something iam not taken and said i would be on the list. so i cant seek other treatment for pain. iam not in a program or do i use pain pills , got one script filled by other doctor and i have make appointment for refill so i did , and now still in pain thanks for not touching me and taking my money for no service Garth Ashbeck. please use a different doctor thanks

Terrible doctor!!! Does not care about his patients! My husband had been seeing him for over 5 years and was extremely sick and could not get him to respond to 5 phone calls to office but kept being told by receptionist he would return call before close of business. It was a Friday and the call was never returned and then office closed. So we ended up calling emergency line and asking to have Dr. Ashbeck please call him back as he really needed a prescription called in because he had been in the day before with labored breathing and very sick but still no call. Ended up taking my 62 year old husband to emergency care they gave him a inhaler, antibiotic and nasal spray he has bronchitis which he had the day before when he was at Dr. Asbecks office and all they gave him was cough medicine. The emergency care was shocked that they did not treat him for bronchitis. My husband new he needed an antibiotic and they would not give him one and the next day when he was sicker they refused to… even return his calls! If I could I would sue them because this was very disturbing that they could not even return a phone call. How sick!!! Dr. Asbeck Karma sucks and I hope you see how it feels when maybe someone in your family needs help and they are ignored just as you ignored my husband. Enjoy your weekend we will now since my husband saw a real professional doctor that actually cares and isn’t interested in just collecting a paycheck!!!’

I have been with Dr. Ashbeck and his practice for over 4-5 years now and was with Dr. Walsh since 1984 before he retired. Recently the office staff as well as his nurse practitioners do not hold up to the standards that this practice once kept. For the second time in 2 years there has been a complete lack of follow up regarding blood test following a yearly physical as well as updating my history and contact info. The office staff is rude and is far to busy talking with each other to discuss anything with the patients. I had to make 8 phone calls in a 6 weeks span to get my results mailed to the correct location and not one of the doctors or NP followed up with me to explain what I was even looking at once I finally did receive the results. Still waiting on the call back and this was back in Nov of 2011. I am changing Primary physicians immediately. Never again will I recommend this office.

As a nurse, I can be very critical of physicians. When I moved to the area from the midwest 18 months ago, one of the biggest things I was dreading was finding a new physician that I would feel comfortable with. I feel very lucky that I came across Dr. Ashbeck on my first attempt! Dr. Ashbeck treats me with respect, takes the time to listen to me, and considers my opinions and wishes, allowing me to participate in the treatment plan. He is willing to refer me when necessary, and doesn't have me come back for follow-up visits that aren't necessary as many other physicians do. I would recommend Dr. Ashbeck to anyone who is looking for a competent, approachable physician who will listen to you and make you part of your own healthcare team.
