The cancellation with My Weight Doctor is ridiculous. They make you pay an extra two months of service even if you choose not to use it or not. My primary care doctor did not want me to continue using this program because weight loss drugs interfere with patients who have diabetes mettilus as well hypertension. I was told that if I wanted to cancel due to medical reason, I would only be responsible for paying up to 30 days, and not the additional 2 months. Well when I told the billing department this, they said I had to come in for an appointment and their doctors had to determine whether or not I was eligible for cancelling due to medical reason. So therefore, my primary care doctor had no say so in whether or not the program is healthy for me, even though my primary care doctor knows all my medical history. On top of all this, when you go to My WEight Doctor, you are not seen by the same physician each time. Once you stop taking the prescribed medications, you will gain the weight… back. So if you are looking for a quick fix, this is not it.

Goes from seemingly competent to what I can only describe as looney...has difficulty understanding what you are saying to her, and usually isn't really listening regardless. She often interrupts you, especially if you are voicing a concern about something. She is a doctor, but she seems more concerned with pushing her company's plan than she is about your overall medical well-being. After two visits I left feeling like the whole operation was a sham. The most competent person there seems to be one of the physician's assistants.
