I was unaware until now Dr. B came back to Evanston. Both of my children were born in Evanston, and all my OB/GYN services were thru Dr. B.. He was always thorough, but on a few occasions I felt the nurses did more the him. My first child was emergency C-section, and he was wonderful . However with the birth of my son he was not aseasy to deal with. He forced me deliver my son normal (which can be dangerous) and after my son was born, He looked up at my son's father and asked him "How many extra stitches you want son?"(episiotomy) Also while under heavy meds he made me sign a paper to have a double Tubal ligation. Which my sons father pushed Dr. B to make me sign. So without even holding my son yet, I was pushed into a surgical room and immediately given the surgery. I was only numbed from my neck down, and could smell my own flesh burning. It was traumatizing and frightening. All the while thru the surgery he was speaking to a co worker about his golf game. After the surgery was… over I finally got to go home with my new baby. 2 days home, I felt horrible pain and went into the bathroom and passed a blood clot so big (around the size of a human heart) I almost passed out. When I called to tell them, they never reassured me as to what it was or why I had passed it. I was never looked at after that of given any after care. One more item of interest, due to the Tubal ligation, also know as a "double Fibriectomy"(which he assured me was reversible)I later (after leaving Evanston) found out I could no longer have children because of the previous surgery, and that it would be impossible to reverse it. In 2008 at the age of 35, I was forced to have a Hysterectomy due to overwhelming Endometreosis started from the original tubal ligation preformed by Dr. B. It was so bad that I almost died. It had attached itself to my lower organs and spine. They also removed one Ovary. What was suppose to be a 2 hour surgery, ended up being an over 8 hour surgery. I may have just been a worst case scenario, that is for you to judge. Tread lightly
