He has been published in numerous clinical journals, including The Neurohospitalist, Stroke, Neurology, The Journal of Stroke & Cerebrovascular Diseases and The Journal of Vascular Surgery. He has presented more than 65 lectures on the various facets of stroke care as well.Dr. Bernardini is an active member of many professional organizations including the Neurocritical Care Society, Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology, American Society of Neuroimaging, the American …Academy of Neurology, the Society of Sigma Xi, and the Scientific Research Association. In addition, he is a fellow of the American Heart Association's Stroke Council.Dr. Bernardini completed his fellowship in stroke and neurological critical care at the Neurological Institute of New York at NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center and completed his residency in neurology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Bernardini is also NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Inaugural Chairman of a new Department of Neurology and is an attending Neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center.
