Dr. Gary W. Clauser, MD

This supposed healthcare professional was rude and dismissive of my son’s multiple concussions symptoms. He never examined the patient and after a 3 second review of multiple MRIs, was in total disagreement with the Radiologist findings. Avoid him at all costs! He needs to be terminated from the healthcare system.

Worst specialist I have ever been too. Had to hold back tears during my visit. He was completely dismissive, rude, never considered alternative diagnoses, and when I explained my symptoms, he would dismiss them and say “there’s things we can’t explain”. I knew in my gut that I was receiving incorrect medical advice. I sought a secondary opinion from a neurologist at St Luke’s and the doctor was appalled with the previous doctor’s lack of care. What Dr. Clauser wrote off as migraines and literally made me feel like I was crazy and stupid… was in fact something entirely different and needed addressing right away. My new doctor ordered additional, more specific testing and easily found the issue… something that took 2 years to uncover with Dr. Clauser, took 2 months with my new specialist. If you have a complex medical history and are not just a classic textbook case, go somewhere else!

Never have I seen a more arrogant doctor. Immediately wrote off the potential reason for my visit (like I’m a hypochondriac) yet did not offer any alternative reason for the issues at hand. Berated me for having the audacity to seek an opinion from him as a specialist when I already saw a general neurologist in the network. Appointment was scheduled for an hour, after about 20 minutes of him telling me who’s the doctor here he abruptly ended the visit saying “well your 30 minutes is up anyway, I’ve got patients waiting”. He never touched me, yet in the visit notes said he did a full barrage of tests. He had an intern present and said “since he’s here I have to have him do something” and told the kid to check my reflexes. One star is for being on time, that’s the only good thing I can say about him. Don’t be a fool - stay away from this guy.

He was condescending and arrogant. Completely misdiagnosed what was ultimately dementia. I can live with an incorrect diagnosis, but he made us feel like we were idiots in the process. I would never recommend him to anyone. He had zero empathy during an extremely tough time, and i pray others don't have to go through what my family did.

Dr.Clauser did not fully review history nor listen to me. Appt. brief and quick to judge ignoring other specialists prior opinions on health and did not review MRI discs. Made a judgemental definitive assessment based on very limited knowledge of my history. Amended my records at his whim. Would never see him again. Does have "I am doctor, what I say is indisputable" attitude. He is wrong with rushed not fully informed diagnosis and I am trying to undo the damage he has made to my medical history records. Don't see this cold, arrogant insensitive physician.

Dr. Gary Clauser is pompous and condescending, and I would definitely NOT recommend him.

He was most rude, completely unprofessional, didn't listen, made a judgement before even looking at previous doctors concerns.

I have been a patient of his for many years. He listens to my concerns, and goes over all my test results. We talk things out as far as my treatment. He follows up with me. The only draw back is the receptionist at that office. If you get past her its a great office. I'm glad I am a patient of his. I trust his judgment, and course of treatment.

Don't waste your time seeing this doctor. He already knew what he was going to say to me before even entering the room. He had his mind made up that I do not have MS without even talking to me. My family doctor feels there is a strong likley hood that I could have MS. ( I prefer it not to be true) i have pretty much all the symptoms that point to it. I am so tired of being in pain and I just want a proper diagnoses. This Doctor does not care about his patients. He has the attitude of I am the doctor and don't question me. i flat out told him I disagree and will be going for a second opinion. I have seen some of the CNP's in this office and they are great but please don't waste your time with this man.
