I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Dr. Clayman and everyone at the Clayman Thyroid Center. My experience started with one of the surgeons calling me for my free phone consultation (yes, one of the surgeons themselves, not a nurse). Then at my in person visit I got to meet the other two surgeons and they went over my ultrasound and blood work results and discussed my surgery with me. Finally surgery time came and unfortunately I went in at the peak of COVID-19 and even with my severe anxiety, I had the best experience. A cancer diagnosis changes your life. One year ago I had my total thyroidectomy with Dr Clayman and staff. My surgery for papillary thyroid cancer and a few lymph nodes turned into a 4 hour surgery and 58 lymph nodes removed with 23 positive for the cancer. Dr Clayman and crew are so experienced with this that they saw more during surgery than any tests could even show. I am now a year out with no signs of cancer and great blood work results. I am sure they saved my life. No other surgeon in my opinion could have done such an intricate surgery and also my incision looks great too. You can hardly see it. I literally can not say enough good things about this place and these amazing people! I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer while I was pregnant with my third child. Dr. Clayman and his staff did everything in their power to keep me calm and get me healthy. I feel blessed to have been able to travel from Oklahoma to Florida for THE BEST OF THE BEST. From the time I arrived till I left his facility I was treated with nothing but respect and concern about my operation by his whole staff.
