Dr. Julia Ann Pfaff, MD

I'll start off by saying that Dr. Pfaff appears to be a very kind woman. She recently had performed parathyroid surgery on me which was unsuccessful. I understand things don't always work out! I was on a short time frame of about a month before my deductible was to renew which I had met. I know this is not her problem, however, this failure is going to cost me thousands of dollars. I was told at my follow up that a second surgery would be possible before the sunset of my deductible. I called numerous times and never recieved a call back as well as emailed twice. 22 days later from follow up I receive a call back wanting to reschedule test. This left me seven days to get test performed and surgery scheduled. Impossible! I'm a Firefighter who doesn't have a huge disposable income so paying thousands more is devastating! Her staff, with the exception of the nurse that checks your vitals and her P.A. are very miserable people with unfriendly attitudes! Dr. Pfaff had great bedside manor and… was always very kind, but I feel it takes more than this to be considered good or great as a physician! I feel I was given false hope by stringing me along with no remorse. I went in blind on a recommendation and not doing my homework and asking more questions has cost me time, aggrevation, and money for a new operation I really don't have at this moment. This was my first surgery and the positive I can take away from this is the lessons and knowledge I have learned from this in not doing more research and blind faith

Charged me 69000$ for a simple deviated septum repair. Her staff is very rude, and not helpful whatsoever. They flat out lied to me, then had the audacity to bill for even more. They should be thrown in jail. Run away from this place.
