Excellent communication skills, very thorough and actually took time to explain things to me. Was treated like a real human & NOT just an insurance reimbursement code like ARC.

Dr Gilcrease is very personable I have been seeing him since he opened his practice and have since moved out of the Hays area AND still travel from Round Rock to see him.

Poor service. Rude staff. This review keep getting error messages. hmmm. Gilcrease you have lost this patient. Hire professional and courteous staff. I won't be back.

Deplorable staff. Dr Gilcrease you have lost this patient. Get better staff. Not the first time they have been rude and unhelpful but it is the last. Waited 3 days to be seen. Refused for lack of a physical ins card(which could have been faxed). Was forced to go to urgent care...diagnosed with bronchitis. Especially at this time one might expect more....I was an existing patient. Poor service to your community and customer.

Absolutely the worst receptionist and office manager. I waited 3 days to be seen. Receptionist refused me for lack of a physical ins card. One could have been faxed from insurance carrier but they made no attempt to help and turned me away. At a time when the area is in a state of emergency.... the office manager didn't even come talk directly to me despite the fact that she was 15 feet away. I was diagnosed with bronchitis after visiting an urgent care facility. unconscionable. don't give them your business or trust them with your wellbeing. Dr Gilcrease you have lost this patient.

I have moved down to Texas 5 years ago and I needed to find a primary doctor. Dr Gilcrease was the one I chose. Well after seeing him many times for physicals only, I have a very hard time with his office personal every time. Extremely rude and very slow. They are not user friendly in any way shape or form. I called to day to see the doctor asap because I have had a runny nose and coughing.. dry cough! for three weeks. I am taking allergy meds every day and still the same. My best friend just died from a heart attack yesterday having the same issues I am having now. The office will not see my for an emergence visit and they want to schedule me out a week to see the all-mighty DR. I could be dead by that time and they refused to help me. I have fired the Dr and I will find a doctor that has some compassion for there clients. So if your looking for clinical Dr...he's the one. If you're looking for a Dr that has some companion fir their clients... move on. Total failure to someones… life. He is fired!!

Had a 9:30 appointment. 10:00 o'clock rolls around. I asked if there was a problem after 2 other 9:30 appointments come in after me and get called before me. Just looking for an explanation. Never got seen. Just a physical.

Best doctor I've ever been to. I'm 67 so I've been to several over the years. We were traveling up in Maine when I came down with a new health issue. I called his office and was told that he was out of town. Soon he called me from Hawaii where he was at a conference. He spent half an hour on the phone and got my prescriptions lined up at Walgreens. The diagnosis was correct and I'm still alive.

On my first appointment with Dr. Gilcrease, he took a great deal of time and seemed really concerned with my problems. He also noted another condition I had not raised and he took care of it also. He takes his time with patients and is very informative about one's condition and treatment options. I highly recommend his practice.

I felt rushed was not given any time to ask questions felt like I was in a male or a factory assembly line it was very impersonal and left with the feeling that no one cared about my concerns or was aware of the fact then it was hard for me to get out my symptoms concerns or problems. in the past, I have brought my wifeand had the same communication problem except he disrespected my wife.
