Dr. McCracken was recommended to me by a friend. When I met with him for a consultation I thought he was very caring as well as competent. He promised that my next appointment, to have a basal cell carcinoma removed, would be not only comfortable, but pleasant. He promised he would use skin numbing cream or freeze the area to make the anesthetic injection more bearable. When I had the actual appointment I didn't get any of that, and I had to remind him to buffer the anesthetic. The injections were more painful than anything I've ever experienced in my life. I began to cry, and twice when he asked me if I was OK, I said no. However, he did not stop or seek any remedy for my extreme pain (it was in my lower back, an area that was still very inflamed from the biopsy). I had told him that pain raises my blood pressure dangerously, but at no time was my blood pressure taken. I will never go back to this office. I cannot trust a doctor who lies to me and lets me suffer unnecessarily.

I have been seeing Dr. McCracken for 4-5 years and I am very impressed by his thoroughness and professionalism. My family has a history of skin cancer and I am very comfortable that Dr. McCracken will catch anything suspicious early.

Eugh! he should be ashamed for changing when he knows he did nothing for the patient. Dont waste your time, money, and energy! Just because hes in scottsdale doenst mean hes good! horrible. oh! and the staff members were all mean except for the lady that charges you card! LAME!

After trying numerous different treatments for my acne and spending a lot of money in the process, Dr McCracken had my face clear in about 3-4 weeks. He was very personable and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I would definitely recommend him highly to anyone with difficult acne.

Dr. McCraken was rude and very aloof when I saw him. He yelled at his nurses twice during my visit and was not the least bit friendly. Two friends have seen him and had the same thing happen. His whole office staff is on pins and needles waiting for him to scold them over something he does not like. While he may know what he is doing, why go to someone that treats people like this?

He's a good one.
