Dr. Oppenheim is an excellent cardiologist and very caring person. This is NOT the feeling I get from some of my other doctors at Swedish. Dr. Oppenheim truly wants to help his patients and listens respectfully with concern for ANY problem I bring up in regards to my health and what his opinion is. Just a model Dr. For all at Swedish to emulate. I value his professionalism and his care especially! He doesn't make me feel like I am on an assembly line, just another number to get through as fast as possible like some of my doctors I see regularly! He treats me like a human being with Important concerns and opinions. He also doesn't act as if he is above me as many doctors seem to think and treat me. This is a common complaint I hear from family and friends. Patients are h8man being NOT another patient to rush out of the office as fast as possible and disregard their patients concerns. He Is an admirable doctor AND human being-a rarity in the medical fieled lately.

Such a great ability and willingness to tease out the details of a complicated stiory, and transparently parse through it so I understand how the pieces relate annd can feel secure that they have been considered and evaluated. Can and does step back and look at the whole picture, not just his specialty, which makes his assessments and plans even more helpful. Isn't afraid to acknowledge things that can't be fixed. I could go on and on.
